How to omit certain results from GenBank search?

I am trying to download all proteins from a species on GenBank but i dont want mitochondrial proteins in my database.

Is there a way to omit them from the search results? Or will i have to remove them from the seq file after downloading?

Try something along these lines: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/protein/?term=Strongylocentrotus+purpuratus+%5BORGN%5D++NOT+mitochondrion
OR
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/protein/?term=Strongylocentrotus+purpuratus+%5BORGN%5D+NOT+mitochondrial

Replace Strongylocentrotus purpuratus with your organism name.
