Hub gene in ppi network not included in list of deg.

Hi.

I was doing a meta-analysis and making a PPI network, which was tissue specific using differentialnet and cancer specific using the TCSBN database. I got two hub genes based on degree, which are not included in any of the deg list i used for meta-analysis...are are they still considered hubs and how did they come in the ppi network??

Anecdotal evidence is typically not enough to reproduce a problem. I suggest you show code, plots, data examples.
