Transcription factor target gene

How to find Transcription factor target gene? i am working on drosphila transcription factor and looking for target gene

chip-seq

For me (I'm not sure it is right), transcription factor target gene refers to those genes with that transcription factor located in regulatory regions responsible for their expression, you can generally call genes with that TF located in the promoter region as target genes

I know about TRANSFAC as a database for transcription factor - gene interaction. For a short overview I'm just linking the wikipedia entry.

There is a free academic version at http://gene-regulation.com .

Nevertheless, I guess there are more databases out there describing the targets of transcription factors.

Cheers,

Michael
