Profile Description:
We are looking for postdoctoral researchers with expertise in computational biology to join the "New strategies to inhibit tumor angiogenesis" research unit headed by Elisabetta Dejana at IFOM.
We are especially looking for outstanding motivated ambitious candidates, with a proven track record of experience and publications in the field of computational biology, interested in working in an international and competitive research environment. The successful candidate will work primarily on the analysis of genomics data: namely genome-wide data obtained by high throughput sequencing based techniques, including gene expression (e.g. RNA-seq, single cell RNA-seq) and chromatin marks (e.g. ChIP-seq) as well as in situ sequencing (e.g. Cartana, Spatial Transcriptomics). The development of new methods and tools for data analysis is expected to be part of the postdoctoral research activity as well. English is the working language at IFOM.
