Position title: Postdoctoral Associate

Duties and Responsibilities

This is a two to three year-postdoctoral position in the Keles Group (http://www.stat.wisc.edu/~keles) at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. The position is funded by a recent grant from the ENCODE project (http://www.genome.gov/27550184). We are seeking highly motivated individuals to develop novel statistical and computational methods for analyzing large-scale genomics data from next generation sequencing technologies. Successful candidate will join a dynamic group of graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty.

Position Qualifications

Candidates will ideally have a doctoral degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field, as well as genuine interests and experiences in biomedical and genome research. Outstanding computing and communication skills are required. Prior work in statistical/computational genomics/genetics is preferred.
