Kmer with genomic island detection

Hi everybody, I am working on python, to find all the kmer (k = 4) in the various sequences (genomic island) finally to make a prediction. But I have a problem on the interpretation of my data, to find the kmer. In a lot of research that I make the comparison is done with a real sequence like ACGTAGTC ..., but my coach gave me the purely numerical data that is to say, a table with three columns START, END, and LENGTH, so I can not really interpret the data to start programming. Can anyone get an idea on how to do it? I am new to bioinformatics, I really need help please
