Protein sequences prediction with Glimmer3
Hello everyone,
I want to translate genome into protein sequences. I know that prodigal can do that, but I want to use another program to compare the results. I chose Glimmer3 but I can only get gene sequence from it, not protein sequence.
Can someone explain to me what I need to do?

Glimmer is a coding sequence predictor, so you simply need to translate the results from Glimmer with an appropriate translation table for your organism.
