Hi Biostars,

I am conducting a comparative genomic analysis of some metabolic pathway in bacteria. I have so far been using blast to identify orthologous genes in different genomes. However, I would also like to study genomic context of genes in order to be able to fill some missing genes in the pathways. However, I tried to install GenomeTools but haven't been successful. I would like to ask if there are other convenient software programs for studying whole bacterial genomes.
