How I download data from the European Genome-phenome Archive (EGA)

Hi

I have been asked to download EGAD0000 data from European Genome-phenome Archive (EGA);

It seems too complicated; Any of you please have experience to download such data to help me?

I have made an account but after confirmation email says login failed, I emailed help desk but did not reply me. In sum, for it seems really painful how I can download this data.

Any help? Thank you

To access Controlled Access ICGC data at the EGA you must first apply for access on the DACO form. Instructions on this process is available from this web site: http://docs.icgc.org/portal/access/

If you or your PI has not done this then that would be the place to start.

When did you contact EGA?

A week ago. By information @genomax provided I made an account but likely I need to add information about PI also I be author or co-author of 3 publication for the project while this data itself is not for a project rather we are going to use them for doing comparison so I am wondering should my PI fill the application or still I can do that

Perhaps nudge them again. You should expect to get a response in a week so it's not unreasonable to prod them.
