graduation project in bioinformatics
I am a student in the graduation year in biomedical sciences department.i'd like to get involved in an graduation project in bioinformatics, To make the transition, i'd like to get involved in an open souce project. What bioinformatics open source project could welcome beginners in the field.

The very nature of open source projects mean they welcome contributions from anyone if you spot a real way to improve the code or add features etc.
All you need to do is ensure you follow the instructions/guidelines they give for contributors. Whether this is feasible for you or not will depend on your skill level. You will need to be proficient in version control software such as Git or SVN.
