I m trying to filter my metgenome's fastq reads using Usearch but I am facing this error.

fatal error 'CharToIntQUal('M). phred score 44 out of range 0..42,base 33

Any suggestion to overcome this ?

hi... how you resolve the issue? I am facing same problem. I am sure about that the fastq file is OK because all iontorrent generated file shows the same problem..

enable the tag -fastqmin 0 -fastqmax 47 while filtering. It will resolve the issue
