So in order to use some TF footprinting format I'm interested in obtaining motif files in .pwm format, in the old jaspar format (before 2016). I have found that the motifs that are contained in the meme suite (http://meme-suite.org/db/motifs) can be downloaded from http://meme-suite.org/meme-software/Databases/motifs/motif_databases.12.18.tgz, but these are in .meme format. I'm aware of the conversion capabilities of the meme suite, but does anyone now how can they be reversed? If I'm not mistaken, I think I would need something like the jaspar2meme tool but to convert from meme to jaspar. Does anyone now how to do this?
