The argument on whether or not PDF is in any way an appropriate format for data of any type will just have to wait :)
Hi,
Biostar group is doing so well with all these centric goal in bioinformatic information sharing. Sometimes I find out questions and answers so relevent given by diffeent Biostar user but can't save them in appropriate file format (e.g- pdf). Everytime, I have to copy them or save html file or login to Biostar group. If I have to print them, then I have to format copied data in word or e.t.c.
Have Biostar administrative group thought about it?
I think new tab can be added on the top somewhere for example save/export in pdf format.
If I visit to specific question like this http://biostar.stackexchange.com/questions/363/what-tools-libraries-do-you-use-to-visualize-genomic-feature-data, which consists of so many relevant answers and enough resources to go through in offline mode.
It will be so easy to download pdf file of above given question with specific answers having more or equal to 5 votes.
This is just my query to Biostar administrative group.

Why not just sort the answers by number of votes using the Votes tab (so that the highest are at the top) and then print to file as PDF using your web browser?
If you really want to hide some low-scoring answers, you could use greasemonkey or equivalent. Personally, I wouldn't bother. I would just drop the complete PDFs into a directory and use a document indexer e.g. gnome tracker to navigate them.

In the absence of a meta site, this kind of question is still more relevant to the Google Group
You also should remember that if the feature isn't in the original StackExchange feature set, it's unlikely to be added by the admins.
This is a feature request and as Daniel above stated it is more relevant to the Google Group. I will soon make a post that asks for features for a possible new version of BioStar.
