Hi there,
i have a question about gene ontology, as we all know gene ontology divided in to three classes; biological process, cellular components, and molecular functions and of course these classes divided to sub-classes. in the term of biological process in my data, I found pathways in cellular and metabolic sub-classes are the most affected processes, what do they mean? in the case of cellular component cell part and organelles sub-classes are major component, what do they mean? finally, the most molecular functions affect in my data were catalytic activity and binding, what do they mean?
Many thanks in advance

The description of the root terms is quite detailed and contain examples, just read the description in AmiGO:
- Biological process: http://amigo.geneontology.org/amigo/term/GO:0008150
- Cellular component: http://amigo.geneontology.org/amigo/term/GO:0005575
- Molecular function: http://amigo.geneontology.org/amigo/term/GO:0003674
