Error in library(reshape2)

Dear R- Help I installed the reshape2 package in RStudio and loading the library gives the following error. 

Error: package or namespace load failed for ‘reshape2’ in loadNamespace(j <- i[[1L]], c(lib.loc, .libPaths()), versionCheck = vI[[j]]):
 object 'vI' not found.

How to fix this error?
