Why are some questions going missing? Is it that the person who posted the question decides to delete their own question?

I have witnessed this twice since joining 1 month ago.

The question got deleted by the OP. Sometimes that is deliberate, at other times it is accidental.

Whenever I see someone deleted their answered question I restore this too (but as a moderator I only have a short time to do so if I'm not mistaken)
