Newbie Question: How to know solvent accessibility of a residue from HSE-up value and HSE-down value(of Half Sphere exposure).
Hello. I want to sort residues of a protein in increasing order of solvent accessibility using Biopython. I am using Half Sphere exposure measure. I succeeded to obtain HSE-up value and HSE-down value of a residue using HSExposure class, but I cannot understand what is the relationship between these values and solvent accessibility. How should I know a solvent accessibility of a residue from HSE-up value and HSE-down value?
Or could you recommend some nice solvent exposure measurements for Biopython other than Half Sphere exposure measure?
