Using the repair utility in FeatureCounts

Does anyone know how the use the repair utility program that's a part of featureCounts? I have been running featureCounts from command line so I tried running "repair" from command line but it can't find the program. I downloaded the subread package so I'm not sure why I cannot find it, Is there a special way to run it? Thanks.

On my computer, in the software folder

repair may be in the utilities folder inside bin. Since the folder is probably not in your $PATH it is not working?
