Pre-index database from fasta file for vsearch
I am running multiple instances of vsearch --usearch_global and I would like to save on the database indexing time, which represents about 80 to 90% of the time in my case. I haven't seen a way to pre-index databases from fasta file for vsearch but I may have overlooked a documentation source.
Does anybody know if/how this can be achieved?
