Predict if the mutation is activating or deactivating

Hi there,

Does anyone know a tool that can predict whether a given SNV/INDEL has activating or deactivating effect. There are many tools that can predict whether a mutation is deleterious or not. But i did not find information regarding if that mutation is activating or deactivating.

hi, In case your interest is in human samples, then have a look at OncoKB and MutationAssesor. Not everything under the sun is 'annotated' though, in fact for OncoKB it is a select few. Both of the above are used in the cBioPortal data
