List or wiki of major NGS-related consortia
Hello all,
I was wondering if there is a centralized list of major consortia that are related to NGS, with brief (or detailed) information about each.
What I mean is efforts like 1000 genomes, ExAC, ESP6500, ENCODE, GTEx, FANTOM, etc etc.
Seems like it would be a fairly good resource, given that there is so many of these and more is happening every year.

Yes. I meet such event frequently. I think it is understand-able, since sometimes, the authors want to get the answer quickly and comprehensively.
Maybe you like to start here by writing about some of those you listed? Post type for this could be blog or maybe and external blog?
