Time To Upload A Bigwig File With Around 12.55 Gb

I am uploading a big wig file generated from MACS peak caller, the file size is 12.55 GB. It is running now. btw, I wonder if it will be eventually uploaded or not as it is a huge size. IGV is run with even such a huge wig file. how about ucsc genome browser?

This is a mac computer with processor 2x2.93 GHz 6 core intel and 64GB 1333 MHz DDR3.

what is the limitation of bigwig file size? How long does it take to get the result approximately?

Anyone comments?

genome genome wiggle

See David's answer below. You should not expect uploading a 12.55GB file to work.

You don't have to upload the file. You can just make it accessible via ftp, or http and tell UCSC where to access it.

You can find a description at the UCSC-FAQs: http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/bigWig.html
