Affymetrix probe number
Hello everyone,
I know that the same affymetrix id always refers to the same probe set. Can it be said the same also for probe sequence as it is returned by the method pmindex() of AffyBatch class from "affy" package?
I mean: calling
pmindex(A)[[id]][1]
pmindex(B)[[id]][1]
on batches A, B coming from different chips (UG133Aplus2, UG133A) do I point to the same probe? How to check it?
