Hi All,

I have generated taqman miRNA card data on human muscle samples. I used the normalization and processing as recommended by the manufacturer. But somehow Iam not convinced with how the data looks right now. I would like to try more robust normalization techniques for the data. So anyone with knowledge on miRNA controls in muscle and/or a good way of normalizing taqman array card data please please help!

Any paper doing the same would be great too!

Thanks in advance!

Mamta

This was listed a long time ago, but I was wondering what you ended up doing? I am not convinced with normalization either.

Hey Mamta,

Check out this package: https://www.bioconductor.org/packages/release/bioc/html/HTqPCR.html

I was using rank invariant normalization and it worked quite well for me. You can also try other options and compare the performance.

Hope it helps!
