Whenever possible use FTP server to upload stuff to Galaxy. Browsers are not meant to do file transfers. https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/FTPUpload

How big are your fastq files? Considering that I was answering your other thread, I guess you are trying to perform fastQC? They have a standalone programme and it is rather easy to use. You can download it here: http://www.bioinformatics.babraham.ac.uk/projects/fastqc/
no thanks, actually advisor asked me to try tophat because im with eukaryotes, i don know if tophat will work with ribo-seq also or not, anyway the fastq file i am uploading is 2 gb
If you have the linux system, you can download topHat here: https://ccb.jhu.edu/software/tophat/index.shtml
However, I am not sure if it will work for ribo-seq
thank you Sam
Which Galaxy instance are you trying to upload it to? Beware there are user data quotas on http://usegalaxy.org - see also their dedicated Q&A site: https://biostar.usegalaxy.org/
im using ribo-galaxy
http://ribogalaxy.ucc.ie/ directs user queries to their forum at http://gwips.ucc.ie/Forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=24 - I suggest asking there.
