Dear community,

Could anyone tell me how HiSeq technology contributes to know where regulatory sequences as enhancers promote the formation of loops (and how they are deteted) in the DNA of Eukaryotes to control transcription?

Thanks a lot

The HiSeq in particular doesn't contribute. Rather high-throughput sequencing in general allows things like Hi-C, which allow one to probe loops and other chromosomal conformations. Realistically though, people will tend to integrate this with ChIP-seq or DNase accesibility, since those are simpler to analyze and more easily narrow down the putative promoter/enhancer regions.
