Hi all,

I am new to plant protein kinase study, and I have been working on the differentiation of plant protein kinase function prediction. I am wondering how to find two protein kinases that look alike but function differently? I tried to look into PDB but there are too many entries to sort out straight.

Looking forward to your opinions and suggestions, and thank you very much for your time.

Best,
Andrew

If you want kinases with similar sequences that are involved in different biological functions/processes at the cellular level, you could look for paralogs. Then if you're interested in their structure, filter for those that are in PDB.
