normalize data before conducting ANOVA

How can I normalize data before conducting one-way ANOVA? Is it necessary to normalize?

I have two variables to compare variances. These are water analysis for arsenic from 4 types of wells. I conducted ANOVA, but now they are asking me that I need to normalize before it. I don't how to normalize...if you know, I would appreciate your guidance...data is on SPSS

Hello pjuarez!

We believe that this post does not fit the main topic of this site.

Biostars is a community for computational biology (bioinformatics) and this is not a bioinformatics problem. You might benefit from asking StackExchange's statistics division "Cross Validated" here: http://stats.stackexchange.com/

For this reason we have closed your question. This allows us to keep the site focused on the topics that the community can help with.

If you disagree please tell us why in a reply below, we'll be happy to talk about it.

Cheers!

I just remembered the bug report and dug into the code searching for the cause :)
