Looking for breast cancer genes databases

Hi all,

I'm looking for databases which contain list of genes which are involved or contribute to breast cancer.

Would someone help me?

I suggest you to give a try to Integrative OncoGenomics (IntOGen) database: http://www.intogen.org/.
It is a resource that integrates multidimensional OncoGenomics Data for the identification of genes and groups of genes (biological modules) involved in cancer development.
You can find genes and mutations related with the cancer site you want, in your case breast.
http://www.intogen.org/web/mutations/v04/search?2

Hope it helps.

Hello everyone,

Is anyone having idea of curating pathways/genes which are responsible for induced angiogenesis via monocytes/tumor associated macrophages?

Basically I am constructing protein-protein interaction network. For that, which is the best way to retrieve proteins/genes.

  1. Vegf induced monocyte promoting angiogenesis signaling pathway?

  2. Or only vegf downstream signaling pathways which are responsible for angiogenesis ?

And how to retrieve the genes/pathways from diff databases and how to curate the proteins which are only responsible for vegf induced monocytes in cancer angiogenesis?

Thank u in advance.
