Especially, "value for money", cost of living aspects, there are low or no tuition fees, though the quality of education is quite good (very subjective, this), often thorough on the Math/Algorithmic side. Master's programs in Germany are generally crowded, often less seats than the number of BSc graduates (however BSc in Germany is often not regarded as a complete work-enabling degree, therefore everyone wants a Master's), so, you possibly have to apply at many universities; but the situation is possibly more relaxed for math/nat.sciences field. Many PhD programmes require a Master's or extra courses.

Check before:

• the curriculum corresponds to your interests
• universities have all different requirements for joining the MSc programmes
• semester fee/tuition fee
• availability of affordable student housing
• make sure teaching language is english, or you have to be very good in German already to take a test
• need to learn at least a little German
