Functional Genes x Pseudogenes
Hi All,
I am working with evolution of proteins in the human genome and I wanna know if is possible to obtain a list of all pseudogenes (human and non-human) with relationship with human genes.
I did a test with gencode data (release 21), however there is only information about genes and pseudogenes in the human genome.
What could I do?

Have you checked the pseudogene database from Mark Gerstein's group? It has ortholog information for human, worm and fly genes and pseudogenes.

GENCODE 21 contains data for human only, so it's not surprising you got info on genes and pseudogenes in the human genome only. There is GENCODE M3 for mouse. Both will have pseudogene annotation.
