How to retrive 5' flanking regions (upto 500 bp) from BioMart?
Do you know how to retrieve 5' flanking region from BioMart? I find a similar question in this website. But since Biomart has revised their website. The answer to that question is out of date.
My species is Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

- Go to BioMart
- Ensembl Genes 77 (Choose database)
- Saccharomyces cerevisiae R-64-1-1 (Choose dataset)
- You may limit the data mining to genes or regions of your interest using Filters section on the left panel
- Click the Attributes section on the left panel
- Choose Sequences on the right
- Expand SEQUENCES (+)
- Select flanking options of your interest
- Hit the Results button on the top left to view your dataset
- Hit the Go button on the top right to download the sequences (fasta format) to your computer
