What type of identifiers are GENE IDs of s. pombe to use in DAVID?

Hello,

I am trying to set the background on DAVID and I guess I have to upload a list of all the genes present in my organism (s. pombe). So I go to pombase and then paste the whole ID column from there to DAVID. But I don't know what type of identifier are those IDs? Are them Entrez, ensembl or any other? I tried a few but in all cases it says "You are either not sure which identifier type your list contains, or less than 80% of your list has mapped to your chosen identifier type. Please use the Gene Conversion Tool to determine the identifier type". And then when I use the Gene Conversion tool, 4159 of them are not in DAVID DB! So what shall I do?

Please advise!

In case somebody stumbles on this relatively old post,

try using LOCUS_TAG for pombe identifiers such as SPAC1071.02, etc., this worked for me.
