How to add a gene in Geneious
Hello,
I am very new at this field so I am sorry if I have a stupid question but maybe someone can help me with creating a gene in geneious. I am trying to add to the *.gff file the next line:
Ohadi_chloroplast_new maker gene 84502 84634 . + . Name=PSBIN;
but it seems like its not working.

The problem is that i managed to add gene from geneious but when i am trying to run cpgavas on gff file i dont get the gene on the graph

What is "not working"? Is there an error message, if so what?
There is a feature called add annotation.
The problem is that i managed to add gene from geneious but when i am trying to run cpgavas on gff file i dont get the gene on the graph.
That would seem to be more of a cpgavas question then. You might just look at the line(s) corresponding to a gene you can see and look at how they differ (other than coordinates, of course).
