blast against a specific protein family
Hi sorry for the stupid question but I am new in the field. How I can blast a protein X against only the lysozymes in PDB or against only the hemoglobins. it is this possible?

Have you tried NCBI Protein web blast? You can limit the search against PDB entries and then you could further restrict by using an "entrez query" with lysozymes.
You may also be able to do this as a two step process. Get PDB ID's for lysozymes by doing an "advanced search" and then use those to retrieve sequences and then do the blast locally.
