What Is The Meaning Of Pct Being Null In Targetscan?

Guys,

I want to use targetScan with maximal sensitivity. So I want to consider all targetScan predictions in Predicted_Targets_Info.txt including Pct=0. But I can't decide on Pct being null, because it is not documented in anywhere.

Do you know what it means for a Pct to be null?

Thanks,

I emailed one of the authors of targetScan, and he said the following: PCT is calculated only for miRNA families that are highly conserved.
For other families, the PCT model has much less power to differentiate sites, so it hasn't been applied. So if you want to include sites with PCT=0, then it may be relevant to include all nonconserved miRNA families' sites too (so essentially ignore PCT values).

Hope it helps to others in the same problem.

thank you the justpark ,this helps me a lot
