Hi everyone,
we would like to announce our upcoming hands-on NGS bioinformatics workshops for 2026. The courses are designed for biologists, molecular biologists, biomedical researchers, and life scientists who want to gain practical experience in next-generation sequencing data analysis.
Upcoming courses:
June 15–19, 2026
10th Berlin Summer School in NGS Data Analysis 2026
Berlin, Germany
September 9–11, 2026
A Practical Introduction to NGS Data Analysis and Variant Calling
Munich, Germany
November 2–5, 2026
2nd Berlin Winter School in RNA-Seq Data Analysis 2026
Berlin, Germany
November 23–25, 2026
Online Course – A Practical Introduction to NGS Data Analysis and Variant Calling
Online
The workshops focus on practical, hands-on training using real datasets and cover topics such as:
- QC and sequencing data handling
- read mapping and alignment
- RNA-seq workflows
- variant calling and interpretation
- reproducible analysis strategies
All in-person courses are intentionally kept interactive and discussion-oriented, with plenty of room for questions and exchange between participants.
