Job: Founding Computational Biologist, AI Agents for Pharma

iollo | San Francisco + Remote (US) | Full-time Annual Salary: $150K–$220K + equity

iollo is Stanford-founded and Y Combinator-backed. We’ve built Quinn, an AI scientist that does the work of a full research team in days for Fortune 500 pharma companies. The role: extend Quinn into new therapeutic areas and deliver results directly to pharma partners.

What you’ll do:

Work alongside Quinn to deliver for pharma partners and present findings to their R&D leadership
Build and ship production pipelines to extend Quinn’s capabilities
Work with LLMs daily as scientific tools
Ramp into new therapeutic areas fast

You may be a good fit if you have:

A PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, or related (or equivalent depth from industry)
3+ years in pharma R&D — target ID through new drug application
Built pipelines or tools that other people actually use — not just notebooks
Scientific judgment to validate Quinn’s findings
A self-directed approach — you figure out what needs to happen and do it

You’ll stand out if you:

Have shipped a tool, package, or application that people actually use
Are genuinely excited about LLMs/AI and have built something real with them
Have presented scientific findings to leadership or external partners

You’d be Quinn’s scientific voice. Quinn finds things human teams miss — you make the call and deliver to partners in days, not quarters. If you want to shape how AI is used in drug discovery, let’s talk.
