Question about adaptive bootstrap and self-tuning MCMC as acceptable methodology for publication
Good day,
BEAST2 and MEGA12 have recently released self-tuning MCMC and adaptive bootstrap respectively to reduce the number of replication and unnecessary computing resources
However, are these new methods acceptable in regular population genetics papers? if it is, are there any paper that use this? So far, I only see traditional methods and unsure if it is acceptable
