How to highlight genes on genome visual reprezentation/what tool to use?
Hi everyone!
I have a bunch (pretty many) of bacteria genome assemblies which I want to visualize. Being more precise, I want to visualize circular genome representations and highlight a pull of genes on them (label the pool of genes or highlight them with colors). Ideally it would be desktop-based so I could process them using bash. What tool would you recommend for this? I was recommended using GenoVi, but as far as I can see it doesn't have this option unless I'm missing something.

Circos: https://circos.ca/
There are implementations of Circos in other languages, just search on "Circos" and the name of the language.
