Is it just me or has www.ensembl.org been broken for a while?

I've been having trouble getting the Ensembl website to work for me for at least a few weeks now. For example, just now I went to www.ensembl.org, which redirected me to useast.ensembl.org. Then I tried searching for some gene names or Ensembl gene ids, but every query results in:

Search server failed to respond
Retry this search in a few moments
Use one of our mirror sites: useast asia
Contact us if the problem persists

If I try the 'asia' mirror, it just shoots me right back to 'useast'. I have just now contacted Ensembl help, so I'll see what they say. I feel like if this was a general problem, I'd see other people complaining, but I don't know how this could just be a "me" problem.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Not just you. Ensembl site (and mirrors) have been flakey for last few days.

Hi gene_biostars - thank you for reporting this issue. We are currently looking into fixing this error with the search server. I'll report back here as soon as it's been fixed.

In the meantime, please use the following URL to access the main Ensembl mirror (where the search is working as normal): https://www.ensembl.org/index.html?redirect=no

As a side note, we haven't received your report on the Ensembl Helpdesk (no need to resubmit anything as I can keep you updated here).

Hi gene_biostars - thank you for your patience. We have now fixed the search function in the Ensembl USEast mirror, which is now working as expected.

Is this still working? I'm getting errors from biomaRt::useEnsembl for all mirror settings tested (blank, "www", "useast", "asia")
