updateR() error
Hello everyone, I'm updating R using updateR() from the installr package but when it comes to downloading the new version, it says:
the setup files are corrupted. please obtain a new copy of the program
I've launched RGui.exe as an administrator following the instructions, but I keep getting the same error. Any advice? Thanks to all.

The error seems pretty clear that important files are corrupted. Is there a reason you're not just making a new clean install of the newest release? I would probably completely uninstall and re-install R if I was getting those errors.
