install of genomestudio 2.0.5 in aws
Hello,
Does anyone have experience/guidance for installing genomestudio on an aws ec2? I am not as familiar with windows and not sure what version to use, if there is a preferred instance size, or any other considerations. I did contact illumina but it has not been tested, so I am going to try. Thank you :).

Following is a logical suggestion not a tested solution. You can allocate a regular windows 11 instance. Use a few cores (say 4). RAM would likely be dependent on your sample size but start with 16GB. Since genomestudio is free you can always make the instance larger. If I recall right, the install does need to phone home to register (contact Illumina) the first time you run it but it has been some time since I did the install.
