doubt about usage of megahit
i used trinity for rna seq assembly of a plant sample..but the process was oomkilled because of less memory. can i create assembly of a single plant rna sequence on megahit as it can handle large data

you have not mentioned what kind of resources you have, how much data you have to process and what the expected genome/transcriptome sizes are - hence answering your question is not quite feasible.
