WGCNA Analysis - TOM matrix generation time estimation
Hi there, I’m running a WGCNA analysis and generating a TOM matrix through the function TOMsimilarity. I’m starting from a dataset of 42,000 genes and working on a 64 Gb RAM computer with RStudio.
The creation of an adjacency matrix took 2/3 minutes.
How long will the whole creation take? It’s my first time working on a very large dataset. It has been running for 8 hours now.
