Azure vs AWS for cloud computing with Kraken2?

Hi,

I am looking to set up a system to store genomic data and run Kraken2 in the cloud (I have a 32GB RAM machine which I don't think will be able to load my ~9TB genomic database).

Does anyone have any advice on whether I should choose AWS or Azure for this?

If you intend to use the cloud provider as a plain source of infrastructure (hardware/OS, without specific technologies like bigquery/redshift) then the choice may boil down to cost, what your local IT/policy folks will allow and your own familiarity/comfort with the specific provider.
