SCP file transfer to remote server
Hi everyone I trying to send my files to the supercomputer (separated gateway, login node and scratch directory) using the following command.
SCP /home/plankton/MEGAHIT-1.2.9-Linux-x86_64-static.tar.gz user@login2:/home/Megahit
but the file is copied only on the gateway.
Also, it is advised to transfer files using login2 with a two-way password.
Can someone suggest what I am doing wrong?

First, use rsync and second, I suggest to contact your cluster admins for a best practice that works with the given authentification method.
