Converting eggNOG IDs to EC numbers
I am currently tasked to convert eggNOG IDs (like NOG132553, bactNOG01662, proNOG30191, firmNOG00626, etc.) to an EC number (enzyme commission number). What would be the most efficient way to do so? I could not find a programmatic approach to this, as I believe the eggNOG database for this task needs to be v 3.0.
Any and all suggestions appreciated.
