How to examine .hic files from Hi-C analysis?
Is it possible to look inside .hic files or there is a single way to work with them – visualize? Specifically I want to extract some data from these files: e.g. location and degree of connection (Idk).

You should be able to view “.hic” files (contact matrix) using an application called “Juicebox”: https://github.com/aidenlab/Juicebox/wiki/Download There is a web based version of the tool available at: https://www.aidenlab.org/juicebox/
mustache (LINK) is a tool from the same lab that can help analyze the data.
