Can I download a partial database or delete subdirectories from an existing BUSCO v5 database?
I'm in the process of downloading BUSCO databases right now but I think it's a bit overkill for my purposes.
What I plan to do is the following:
- Use BUSCO as a wrapper for MetaEuk to do gene calls on a eukaryotic assembly
- Use BUSCO to tell me completeness/contamination for eukaryotic genome
I only suspect to encounter fungi and protists but the database is downloading lots of higher eukarya including carnivora which I do not expect to assemble out from short read metagenomes.

In hindsight, just use online mode. It's way better.
